What do I do first?

Contact us to initially discuss the type of Photobook you require.


How much will it cost?

Prices will vary depending on the type of Photobook you are after.  It also depends if all the photos are digital or if you require pre-digital style photos to be scanned and included in your Photobook. Generally prices start from (GST inclusive):

• A5 or 15 x 15cm Photobook (20 pages) - $154.00
• A4 Photobook (landscape/portrait) (40 pages) – $344.00
• Large Photobook 30 x 30cm (40 pages) – $446.00

Can you scan my photos?

Yes, we offer a personal service to just scan your photos to disk; or we can scan, create and design your photos into a Photobook. Depending on the number of photos that require scanning we can provide you with a quote. For the scanning service, photos will be scanned to disk at 300 dpi (dots per inch).  If you require photos to be scanned and included in a photobook they will be scanned at minimum 300 dpi.


How do I get my photos to you?

As photos need to be of the highest resolution possible to create the Photobook, unfortunately they cannot be sent via email.  We suggest sending copies only of your precious memories either on a USB stick or burnt to disk.  Australia Post has a great Express Post service so you have a record of your package in the event it needs to be tracked. If you have old style photos that require scanning we can discuss these options upon enquiry.


What will my Photobook look like?

Each Photobook is uniquely designed to your specific requirements.  You can choose different sizes and cover designs to further individualise your photobook.

• A5 Mini Photobook Polycover (hard plastic cover in a variety of colours)
• A4 Photobook(landscape/portrait) - choice of photo on the cover, faux leather or linen in a variety of colours
• Large Photobook 30 x 30cm - choice of photo on the cover, faux leather or linen in a variety of colours

Photobooks are digitally printed on 170 GSM semi-gloss acid free archival paper.  The increased thickness in the paper is optimal for quality and provides a stunning finish for your photos. To ensure your Photobook lasts forever, keep it stored in a cool dry location out of direct sunlight.


Proof and Payment

You can appreciate how much time is involved in designing a Photobook.  Payment of 50% is required upon receipt of the customer agreement and receiving the photos.

A proof copy will be sent via email for approval and your reply can include any wording or changes required.   A further proof will be sent with your changes/additions.  Any additional changes will incur a fee and will be discussed throughout the proof approval.


Timeframe – how long will my Photobook take to be completed?

From receiving your customer agreement and more importantly your photos it will generally take between 4 – 6 weeks to receive your Photo Book (may need to allow more time if scanning of your old photos are required). 

If you have a special event coming up, it is important to plan ahead and we recommend you commence organising your book at least 2 months before the event.


What if I’m not happy with my Photobook?

Every effort is made to ensure you are happy with your Photobook.  Upon receiving your photos and the design work has commenced the initial 50% deposit is non-refundable (appreciating how much time has already been spent on designing your Photobook).
Once you have approved the final proof and final payment made, production of your Photobook commences.  The final proof is exactly how each page will be displayed in your Photobook.  The printing of your photos depends greatly on the quality of the photos taken and provided.
